What does it mean to be a blogger?
The 21st century version of a diary, webzine or blog. What started as an online magazine has now become one of the world's fastest-growing hobbies.
For the average person, the publishability of any work, whether written, audio, or video, is virtually impossible. Most of us don't even have the skills, imagination, or training to prepare articles to the standards required by most publishers. A blog solves this problem.
I don't care if I can write well or not. You are a master of your skills as a blogger. If you like it, I will post it. If you don't like it, take it or leave it until you like it and post it.
I enjoy blogging for many reasons. First, I can express myself in my own words. I don't have to reply to the publisher. You don't have to adhere to any particular publisher's inclinations, whether political or social. I do it my way.
The second great thing about blogs is that you can write about any topic you want to write about. The third and final aspect of blogging that I love is the blogging community.
I enjoy reading other blogs and interacting with authors. We exchange tips and hints. We form a network. They also comment on each other's work.
Blogging, like everything else in life, has been commercialized. Advertisers see blogs as an ideal advertising tool. Bloggers see advertisers and advertising as a means of financing their activities.
Anyone who wants to be published in this old-fashioned book format, especially if you have a blog and have to sell almost your soul to publish when you can get paid.
Of course, the payment depends on the number of visitors, and whether you write depends on the number of visitors. It is still your choice. You can write in a genre that suits you. You will have a consistent audience over time.
Blogging has become a way to communicate information and skills. Anyone with qualifications or experience in a specific field can write newsletters and blogs. If you type a topic into most search engines, some of the most popular sites will be blogs.
Being a blogger means you are free to write at any time you want, regardless of your academic background, writing skills or English. Being a blogger means having fun writing.
